Is there any tool like swing available for pdt environment. If not then how is it possible to design web page only through code writing

PDT >=1.0.5 is ONLY compatible with Eclipse 3.4.
With Eclipse 3.3 (Europa, THIS ARTICLE) you have to use PDT 1.0.3.
You have to deselect “Show the latest version of a feature only” to see PDT 1.0.3.

Also two of the update-site links are not correct anymore.
EMF has moved to:
http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/updates/releases/
and
GEF has moved to:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/gef/updates/releases/

After installation while going for additional plugin like pdt or dltk I am getting error like “PDT Feature(1.0.5.v20081126-1856) requires feature org.eclipse.wst(3.0.0), or compatible” —– how to get out of it.Please help

Hi,

for the PDT installation, you don’t need to add four updates sites, only PDT. The trick is to select the 2 other update site before. See the video on my link. I did it on an old version, but I just did it again on 3.3.2 64 bits, it works too.

By the way did you tried with Eclipse 3.4. I tried without success.

Hi Jwickard,

I’m using the ubuntu-studio theme as a base, which can be installed by running:

sudo apt-get install ubuntustudio-theme

I also have SlicknesS-Black installed on top for the controls and window borders, which can be found at http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Slickness+Black?content=73210 and finally, the Emerald Beryl theme Radial, which can be downloaded from http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/radial?content=71352

You’ll need to install emerald for radial to work:

sudo apt-get install emerald
